Join Emily Berry, Fiona Benson and Will Alexander at the Poetry Book Society’s Spring Showcase to celebrate their astonishing new collections. The critically acclaimed LA-based poet, Will Alexander, will appear via Zoom to launch his first UK publication, Refractive Africa (Granta), a vital and searing work of diasporic witness. The Forward Prize winner Fiona Benson joins us live, reading from Ephemeron, her brave and blistering re-telling of the Greek myth of the Minotaur, and Emily Berry will tune in on Zoom from London to lead us into the half-lit world of dream and dawn in her PBS Spring Choice, Unexhausted Time (Faber). This promises to be an exhilarating tour of the Poetry Book Society Spring Selections from a stellar trio.
This ticket is for the live event in St Andrews; PBS Director Alice Mullen and Fiona Benson will be reading live, and Will and Emily will appear via Zoom.
