Events FAQs

How will I receive my ticket(s) for an event?

For all Faber Members events you will be sent an email with confirmation of your booking. For live events, we are ticketless and hold a guest list on the door. You may bring your confirmation email as additional identification. If you have a ticket for an online event, you will be sent the link a week in advance of the event taking place and a reminder will be issued on the day itself. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].

Can I buy tickets on the door?

Please note that tickets must be booked in advance via our website.

Where do Faber events take place?

A significant number of Faber Members events are held at Faber’s headquarters at The Bindery, 51 Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8HN. Some events are also streamed online. Events are sometimes held at external venues. Please see individual listings for details.

Is The Bindery accessible?

The Bindery is fully accessible, but if you have any building access requirements please let us know in advance by emailing [email protected], so we can assist you. Ticket buyers requiring assistance at the event can get a free ticket for a carer by emailing [email protected].

Do you have to be a Member to attend Faber events?

Most Members events are exclusively bookable by Faber Members, but you can buy tickets for non-Members. It is free to sign up to become a Faber Member here.

Do authors do signings at Faber events?

The event listing will state if a signing is taking place. We cannot guarantee signings will occur at any event and availability may change due to circumstances at the event. If you would like to get further information on a signing please email [email protected].

Are streamed Faber events available afterwards?

Free online events are available to rewatch via the Faber Journal Page. Paid events are only available to rewatch for those who purchased tickets – a link to the recording will be sent after the event and be available to view for a week.

Are there any free events or discounts?

Faber Members advertise free events throughout the year, including our Inside Faber series examining different parts of the publishing process. A concessionary rate of £5 off tickets is available to anyone who is a student, unemployed, low-waged, low-pensioned or who considers the cost of the event a barrier to attending. Use code Concession5 in the promo box in the checkout.
