Subscription FAQs
Can I become a subscriber if I don’t live in the UK?
We are currently only able to deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. We hope to be able to offer subscriptions to EU residents in the future. We will notify Faber Members of any changes.
When will I receive my book each month?
The order for each month's book is created on the first of the month. Your book will usually arrive a few days later. When the book is a new release, subscribers will be the first to get hold of copies: it will reach you in time for the publication date (which can fall earlier or later in the month). You'll be notified by email when the book is leaving our warehouse.
If I am paying monthly, when will the money come out of my account?
The money will leave your account on the same day each month. So if you take out your subscription on the 10th of the month, payment will come out of your account every month on the 10th.
What if I need to change my card details for my subscription?
If you have an ongoing monthly subscription and you need to change your card payment details, you can do this in your My Account section on the Faber website.
Will the books in subscription packages be hardbacks or paperbacks?
Both hardbacks and paperbacks are included in the subscription packages.
How much will I be saving on the recommended retail price of each book?
It depends on the book, because subscription prices are fixed but the subscription packages include a range of titles with varying cover prices. We guarantee that, over the period of the subscription, the value of the discount will amount to at least 10%. Often it will be more.
Is there an option to cancel my subscription if I buy a fixed package?
The option to cancel is for subscribers who opt for an ongoing subscription package. If you are on a fixed package and would like to cancel, please email us at [email protected] with ‘Subscription cancellation request’ in the subject line and the details, and a member of our team will get back to you.
What if a book gets lost in the post?
Each book that we ship to you as part of a subscription package will have a Royal Mail tracking number. You’ll receive an email when the book leaves our warehouse, which will include a link to the ‘My Account’ section of our website, where you can find that tracking number. You can always write to us at [email protected] if you have an issue.
Will I be informed in advance of the titles that are included in subscription packages?
Not directly. We will list upcoming titles for the next six months on each subscription package page, however please note that this selection may change at short notice.
If I don’t want one of the upcoming titles, can I swap it for another book of my choice?
Titles are selected by Faber editors and unfortunately we are not able to swap books for individual subscribers.
Can I use my new Faber Members discount of 10% towards my subscription?
The new Faber Members 10% discount does not apply to subscriptions. This is because discounts are already built in to subscription packages. Your 10% will still apply for a future purchase.
What's in the welcome pack?
The welcome pack has an exclusive Faber tote bag, along with a welcome letter from the Faber Poetry team.
When will my welcome pack arrive?
Your welcome pack should arrive around a week to ten days after signing up. It is sent second class Royal Mail, and is untracked, so occasionally it might take a bit longer than that. If your welcome pack hasn't arrived two weeks after signing up, please contact us at [email protected].
Will my welcome pack arrive with my first book?
The welcome packs are sent out separately to the books. Please note there is a chance you may receive your first book before your welcome pack arrives (depending on when during the month you sign up).
