Kris Kenway

Kris Kenway is a novelist, screenwriter, playwright and journalist. He teaches courses on narrative and novel-writing on the MA Professional Writing at University College Falmouth.

His novels include Too Small for Basketball, described by the Independent on Sunday as 'An affecting . . . warm, bittersweet novel, with a haunting, disturbing picture inside', which was a WH Smith selection. His second novel, Bliss Street, received a Society of Authors award. His short stories have appeared in the Barcelona Review, Arena, and Dazed & Confused. As a journalist, Kris has written for The Times and Al Jazeera.

A graduate of the UCLA screenwriting programme, Kris has sold options on two feature-length screenplays, and his plays Beirut Days and The Line have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4. He has lived in London, Los Angeles, Beirut, Cairo and Rabat.
