Her crime thrillers are published in several languages and have received widespread critical acclaim from authors including Ian Rankin, Val McDermid, Lee Child, Martina Cole and David Baldacci.

Fiona began writing her debut novel Rattle as a student of the Faber Academy and signed her first book deal with Macmillan eighteen months after graduating. Marcel Berlins wrote in The Times: ‘Amid the outpouring of crime novels, Rattle is up there with the best of them.’

Rattle and Fiona’s second novel The Collector are being adapted into a television series by Tiger Aspect, the makers of Peaky Blinders. Her fourth novel – standalone thriller When I Was Ten – will be published in August 2020.

Fiona is currently writing her fifth book and regularly appears at crime festivals both in the UK and Europe. As a crime writer working in today’s marketplace, she is uniquely placed to offer an up-to-the-minute insight into the industry and how it works.
