Faber continues to accept unsolicited submissions of poetry but we regret that we are no longer able to accept any other unsolicited material. This includes submissions of fiction, non-fiction, plays, screenplays and children's submissions - please do not send these in as we are unable to read or return them.

Poetry Submissions
If you wish to submit your poetry please follow the guidelines:

In the first instance please send 6 poems to:

We do not accept submissions by fax, e-mail or on disc.

You must enclose a stamped addressed envelope (international reply coupons if outside the UK) with your poetry for a reply and sufficient postage if you wish the sample to be returned. If return postage is not included we are only able to keep the submission for three months for collection before it will be disposed of.

Always keep a copy for yourself, as we do not accept responsibility for loss or damage of original material.

A reply should take 12 weeks. If you have a query after this time please write to the Poetry Submissions Department giving details of your submission, including the title of the work and the date of despatch.

All poetry submitted is treated as confidential.
