Summary

Alice Oswald’s second collection, Dart, won the T. S. Eliot Prize in 2002. Woods etc. was a Poetry Book Society Choice and was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection and the T. S. Eliot Prize. Her latest collection, Memorial, won the Warwick Prize in 2013.

Educated at the Central School of Art and the Slade, Jonathan Gibbs works in wood engraving, drawing and painting. Living in Scotland he regularly exhibits in Edinburgh and London and is Head of Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art. His visual language is fastidious, linear and deeply sensitive to place.

This broadside has been produced in a format designed to be displayed.

The poem has been set on a Monotype composition caster, and it is accompanied by a specially commissioned illustration by one of four distinguished and sought-after illustrators and printmakers. The poems have been printed letterpress on a Heidelberg SB cylinder press at Hand & Eye Letterpress, London, with the illustrations printed digitally in full colour.

386 x 312mm.

Printed on Somerset Satin White 250gsm.

The broadsides are limited to a print run of 100 copies only. They are signed by the poets and numbered.
