Heather Phillipson

Heather Phillipson works across moving image, poetry, sound and live events. Her poems have appeared widely in magazines and anthologies and been broadcast on BBC television and radio. She received an Eric Gregory Award in 2008, a Faber New Poets award in 2009 and an ACE Grants for the Arts Award in 2011. As an artist, Phillipson exhibits nationally and internationally, and has received awards, commissions and residencies. In 2011, she has shown work at the South London Gallery, the ICA (London), Hollybush Gardens (London), Halle 14 (Leipzig), KG52 Gallery (Stockholm), Eastside Projects (Birmingham), Vitrine Gallery/Shortwave Cinema (London), and has participated in programmes with Picture This Moving Image (Bristol) and X Marks the Bokship (London).
