The Faber Forward Four - Poetry Shortlists Announced :
Faber has four poets named on this year's Forward Prize shortlists.
In the Best Collection award, Jamie McKendrick (Crocodiles & Obelisks, pictured) and Mick Imlah (The Lost Leader) are among the poets in contention for the Best Collection, whilst Seamus Heaney (with 'Cutaways') and Don Paterson ('Love Poem for Natalie "Tusja" Beridze' go for the Best Single Poem prize.
The Forward Prizes are the most lucrative in the British poetry calendar, and the winners will be announced on Wednesday 8th October. [more]
